Business Machine Caster
Algood’s new 500 lbs (225 kg) Low Profile Business Machine Caster is made to support and move heavy office equipment where overall height is a limiting factor. Ideal for use on copiers, vending machines, computers, large printers and other heavy diagnostic equipment. The Business Machine Caster has an overall height of 3½”. The caster is engineered and manufactured with Algood’s RollX™ wheel and includes a roller bearing, which offers high capacity and excellent floor and carpet protection. An optional Thumb Screw Brake is available. The standard finish is high corrosion bright zinc; however other finishes are available including black. The caster’s standard top plate is the A27D. Many other top plates are available including the A38F (4”X4 ½”) top plate.

Egool™ Algood’s unique design was custom engineered to provide a smooth effortless roll. The generous swivel radius allows for motionless swiveling while changing direction. Custom colors are available.

Pedal Wheel Brake The latest innovation from the engineers at Algood is the pedal wheel brake for the 1900 series. This is a front loading wheel brake which primarily works with the ProTech™ and the Envirothane™ wheel in 3”, 4” and 5” X 1 1/4”. PWB is made out of stainless material and therefore is corrosion resistant.

	Quick Change Plates Quick Change Plates (QCP) are designed for abusive caster applications where new casters can be quickly changed, especially at “on the job” applications without having to remove nuts and bolts. The QCP can lower your labour costs and eliminate having to tighten nuts and bolts. The QCP is designed to be welded to your unit and have the caster easily slide into the pad and lock into place. The QCP is available for 2 plates, the A25D & the A38H.

Convertible Aluminum Hand Truck These convertible aluminum hand trucks quickly and easily convert into a platform truck. The light weight aluminum frame is balanced to assure easier maneuverability. The weight capacity of the hand truck is 500 lbs, while the platform truck has a weight capacity of 1000 lbs.

Hand Activated Brake™ patent pending This patent pending Hand Activated Brake™ can be customized to lock the swivel head or the wheel brake. The HAB™ is available in a wide variety of KingPinFree™ series. Excellent accessibility for recessed applications.

Custom Mag Wheels Algood is renowned for its engineering and design. Customized Mag Wheels have been created to authenticate customized wheel rims. The Mag Wheels have Algood’s proprietary RollX™ material which is securely bonded to the unique Aluminum cores. The Mag Wheels not only have a distinct appearance but are excellent for high capacity applications.

	Twin Wheels Customize cool twin wheel casters. Increase the appearance on everyday items. BIFMA tested. Many fastenings are available. Multiple color combinations available.

Foam Filled Pneumatics Algood’s foam filled rubber wheels are excellent for applications where flats are not an option. Foam Fills are very economic and excellent where custom colors hubs and treads are desired.

ProTech's™ Various Colors Algood is pleased to announce the addition of the color Blue & Red 4”X1 ¼” and 5”X1 ¼” sizes, available with and without ball bearings in its ProTech™ series. ProTech’s are non-marking treaded wheels which are securely fastened to its polyolefin core. It is highly resistant to most chemicals and excellent for all floor surfaces. ProTech’s are quiet and easy rolling, and are shock absorbing and will reject some floor debris. The shore hardness (durometer) of the ProTech is 65-78 on the A scale. The temperature range of the ProTech™ is -45°F to 230°F (-40°C to 110°C).

Nyroll™ Nyroll™ wheels are a low cost alternative while providing high load capacities. They are lightweight, non-marking and resistant to impact abrasion, corrosion and the effect of many chemicals. Nytrol’s are resistant to oils, fats, most alkalis, soap and detergents but should not be used in contact with acids. One of the main benefits of nylon is that it is unaffected by water and its use in the wet environments, actually enhances its self-lubricating properties. Normally used with a plain bearing, the Nyroll™ wheels are available with roller bearings and ball bearing. The bearings will increase capacity, but more importantly will reduce rolling resistance. The Nyroll™ is a hard wheel; they do tend to be noisy when moving quickly over rough surfaces. Care should be used when moving heavy loads on surfaces such as vinyl, as damage to the floor surface may occur. The temperature range for the Nyroll™ is between -30°C and +80°C under normal operating conditions.

High Temp Lava™ Algood’s High Temp Lava™ series are excellent for temperature up to 475ºF and 525ºF intermittently. Lava™ wheels will not break down in wet high temperature applications. Lava™ wheels are capable of 2,000 lbs capacity. Lava™ wheels range in sizes including 4”X 1 ½, ”4”X2”, 5”X2”, 6”X2” and 8”X2”. The Lava™ is non-marking and has been exclusively developed by Algood with thermoplastic nylon material, which is excellent for high load capacities. The Lava™ wheel is extremely ergonomically efficient, as it requires minimum effort to roll casters with heavy loads. Lava™ wheels resist hard impacts and are resistant to most chemicals, solvents, gases, acids, steam cleaning and do not absorb water! The Lava™ wheel is ideal for industrial and institutional applications. The shore hardness (durometer) of the Lava™ is 85 +/-5 on the D scale. The Lava™ is a hard wheel; they do tend to be noisy when moving quickly over rough surfaces. Care should be used when moving heavy loads on surfaces such as vinyl, as damage to the floor surface may occur.
