Spring Loaded Custom Casters
Gate Spring Loaded Casters We manufacture three models of the "Gate Spring Loaded Caster". Shown here is the one manufactured with our 2053 and the others are made with our 7053 Series. The 2053 is the 2001 Series with any of the 5" x 1-1/4" wheels that we offer in our catalogue. As well, the Maxx and the 7053 Series can accommodate any 5" x 2" wheel listed in our catalogue. Weight capacity varies from 400 to 800 lbs. For plate dimensions and spring specifications, please contact our Customer Service.
New Spring Loaded Shock Absorbing Casters There are two models of "Spring Loaded Shock Absorbing Casters". One is for the 6800 Series and the other is for the 7100 Series. They are both made to accommodate 6" wheels. The 6806 accommodates a 6" x 2" wheel and the 7106 accommodates a 6" x 2-1/2" wheel. For easy lubrication, the swivel head has a grease nipple in the lower race. There are sealed precision ball bearings in the wheel. Currently, they must be custom ordered. The quality and pricing are very attractive.
Heavy Duty Custom Casters
The ALMonster 20,000 lbs. This rolling forged monster is designed to move the heaviest of loads with ease. Top plate dimensions are 9" x 8" with a bolt hole patter of 7-1/4" x 6" to accommodate a ½" bolt. The ALMonster has a 6-1/2" overall height, a swivel lead of 1-1/4" and a swivel radius of 3-1/4". The diameter of the wheel is 4" x 3-51/64". The swivel head is constructed with a high quality tapered bearing. A grease nipple is provided for easy access to lubricate for maintenance.
2,500 lbs. Typhoon with Universal Wheel Brake This rugged Typhoon caster is designed to withstand the day to day abuse of a 2,500 lb. load. The Universal Wheel Brake enables for a total and controlled foot activated lock. The I positional wheel lock permits the unit to steer straight down a long assembly line without having to maneuver the heavy load/or unit. Algood product number is STY84-A521-PH-TB-UWB-IPS1.
BMF Caster - 27,000 lbs., 10 Year Warranty We were requested to build a caster that would withstand total day to day abuse, with speeds up to 35 mph. We were given free and total design. Algood product number is SBMF-A09M-2X25PNFF-TB.
Threaded Stem Custom Casters
MAXX ™ with Threaded Stem A customer required an overall height of 81/2" with a ¾" - 10 x 1" threaded stem, Envirothane (TM) wheel with precision ball bearing and a swivel lock only. Our solution was created by inserting our 6" x 2" Envirothane (TM) wheel in our 8" MAXX (TM) caster with our swivel only Alock (TM). Algood product number is S6582-3/4-10 x I-6U-PB-ASL.
Threaded Stem Caster with 4 Position Lock This custom manufactured caster enabled a customer to have ¾" - 10 x 6" threaded stem with a 4 position swivel lock and a top locking brake with a non-marking cushion wheel with ball bearings. Algood product number is S7063-3/4-10x4-A38H-BARG-BB-TLB-4PSL.
Decorative Custom Casters
Hotel Caddie Caster-Where Looks Count This decorated swivel 7000 Series caster comes in bright brass or chrome, corrosion resistant finish with standard 4" x 4-1/2" top plate. Air cushion ride is available in 6" or 8" balloon aluminum non-marking gray with sealed ball bearing. Rigid caster is available. Top locking brake is available for swivel caster.
Other Custom Casters
ALLevel This caster was designed to accommodate uneven floors and various overall heights where accurate and on sight leveling are critical. This caster evolves from our swivel 2001 Series with 5/8" bolt hole with ¾" x 5" threaded stem and the double locking brake stem locks swivel and wheel.
New Wheel Lock Brake - Universal Wheel Brake Our new wheel locking brake system offers maximum grip. The brake can be readjusted to accommodate wheel wear to maximize caster braking life. Also seen here is the 4 position swivel lock. This wheel brake and the 4 position lock are available in the 6900, 7100, 7200, and 7500 Series.
Air Force Caster This custom designed caster enables the customer to lock the swivel in the caster and/or lock the plate. Originally designed for the Air Force, the casters/ principles can be applied to numerous applications today. Algood product number is SS6583-A46H-6ALT-RB-TG-4PSLXIPSL.
E-MAXX ™ with Special Offset Plate What do you do when a customer requires a greater offset in order to have acceptable clearance from the bottom of their manufactured unit, which is ready to ship, but has no casters? We solved their problem by offsetting the plate to one side to the furthermost possible point. Algood product number is SE6565-C46H-ALT-RB-ALK.
